 This is the perfect trip for someone looking to fish the remote rivers of South-Central Alaska with a roof over their head at night, home style meals and great fishing for an affordable price.  These trips are all about FISHING!!!

 From Anchorage, Alaska, clients take a Bush Plane northwest to the Yentna River Drainage. Upon arrival in the "Bush," you will be met by your guide on the banks of the river and be taken to the lodge. After a quick tour and gearing up we'll have you out on the water fishing. We fish multiple clear water tributaries in the Yentna drainage, all of which offer amazing fishing possibilities. This area is home to all 5 species of Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, Grayling and Northern Pike. We’ll go where the best fishing is and put in a full day on the water! We access these remote rivers in 18’ flat bottom jet-boats and either fish directly from the boat or get out and bank fish. Both Spin and Fly anglers will enjoy the opportunities that await them!

 Our season starts in early June when the mighty King salmon start to run. The King salmon that return to the Yentna drainage can reach upwards of 60+ pounds. Clients routinely hook into Kings that are 40+ pounds. These huge, hard-fighting fish will test the limits of every angler that tie into them. This isn’t a fishery for the weak of heart! Kings run strong throughout the entire month of June and into July.

 By the third week of July, Silver Salmon start their journey up river. These acrobatic fish give anglers action packed fights that typically include reel scorching runs combined with top-water kart wheels. Yentna drainage Silvers average 8 to 10 pounds with some tipping the scales over 15 pounds. The rivers of South-Central Alaska are typically choked full of Silvers into the first couple weeks of September.

 We offer a 5 day / 4 night package. Clients leave Anchorage at 7:00am on their first day and arrive back in Anchorage at 7:00pm on their last day. We run trips out of three different Bush lodges depending on each group’s preferences, trip date and species of fish being pursued. Our rates range from $1,800 to $2,200 per person. We are experienced full-time ALASKAN GUIDES! We are licensed, insured, bonded, CPR\ first-aid certified and Coast Guard Licensed. We are proficient in both fly and spin fishing and are here to assist you in catching fish.

All trips include a great time, lots of CATCHING, rods, reels, tackle/flies, accommodations, meals, fish filleting and fish packaging.

We do NOT include commercial airline tickets to Anchorage, Alaska, bush flights out to the lodge*, fishing licenses\stamps, personal items**, tobacco, alcohol, fish box, or gratuities for the guides (10% recommended minimum). We would be happy to help with any travel questions that you may have.

*Bush Flights typically cost $225 to $275 depending on which bush lodge you choose.

** Breathable waders, polarized sunglasses, mosquito repellant, sun block, cameral and film, baseball cap, flip flop sandals, personal toiletries and clothing. The weather can be unpredictable, bring clothes for both warm and cool weather, including rain gear.
